Media Connect was an innovation initiative that started before tablets became mainstream. It enabled users to both consume content and control the media environment in their homes, all using a tablet. An inhouse android-based tablet was designed for the project, later on, as of-the-shelf tablets got more powerful, iOS support was also added. The requirements included a vast variety of content including music from Spotify, YouTube videos, linear TV channels and video on demand, as well as local music and photos within the home environment.

The wide range of requirements made the UX design challenging since we wanted to build a solution with a low learning curve.
